Hillcrest will be taking both its boys and girls basketball teams to Columbia for the Class 4 Final Four this weekend. The Hornets, the 2010 Class 5 state champions and 2012 Class 4 state runner-up, have been there before, but this will be the Lady Hornets' first trip ever to the state semifinals.

West Plains has won the past three Ozark Conference titles. The Lady Zizzers figure to be in the mix again, with Kickapoo, Camdenton, Hillcrest, Waynesville and others looking to dethrone the three-time defending champions.

Kickapoo may have its deepest team ever, while Waynesville features, arguably, the state's best player. Several other teams, such as Parkview, West Plains and Hillcrest, will factor into the conference race. It should be another exciting year of basketball in the OC.

Hillcrest won the Class 5 state championship last season. Can the Hornets win a second-straight title this year after dropping to Class 4?
